Optocoupler/LED/nixie tube/photoelectric device
The OptoHiT FODM8801 is a new phototransistor utilizing ON Semiconductor's advanced proprietary process technology to achieve high operating temperature characteristics up to 125°C. This optocoupler consists of a gallium aluminum arsenide (AlGaAs) infrared light emitting diode (LED) optically coupled to a phototransistor in a compact half-pitch, miniature low-profile, 4-lead encapsulation. It provides high current transfer rate with very low input current. The input-output isolation voltage VISO is rated at 3750 VACRMS.

These devices isolate low voltage logic from the 240 VAC line and provide random phase control of high current triacs or thyristors. These devices feature enhanced static dv/dt capability to ensure stable switching performance for inductive loads.
