Optocoupler/LED/nixie tube/photoelectric device
The FOD2711A opto-isolated amplifier consists of the popular AZ431L precision programmed shunt reference and optocoupler. The optocoupler is a gallium arsenide (GaAs) light emitting diode optically coupled to a silicon phototransistor. The reference voltage tolerance is 1%. Current Transfer Ratio (CTR) ranges from 100% to 200%. It is primarily used as an error amplifier/reference voltage/optocoupler function in isolated AC-DC power supplies and DC-DC converters. When using the FOD2711A, power supply designers can reduce component count and save space in compact encapsulation designs. The tight tolerance range reference eliminates the need for adjustment in many applications. The device features an 8-pin DIP white encapsulation.

The FODM306X and FODM308X consist of an infrared light emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon detector that performs the function of a zero voltage crossing double-sided triac driver in a compact 4-pin mini-flat encapsulation. Lead spacing is 2.54mm. These devices are suitable for triacs in logic system interfaces from 115/240V AC line powered equipment such as solid state relays, industrial controls, motors, solenoid valves, and consumer equipment.
